B.Sc. – AME (honors) is a blend of theory and practical classes. In which students have a total comprehensive study of each and every detail of aircraft maintenance, its procedure and systems.
This course teaches students the technicalities of Aviation, particularly in Maintenance, Repair and Overhauling, with the complete knowledge of Aircraft, Aerodrome and Aviation rules and regulations regulatory bodies. The students will undergo project work during their final semester of third year on Live Operational Aircrafts.
Students pursuing AME License courses are eligible to take up B.Sc – AME (HONORS) course along with their AME License course in order to have the advantage of both a License and a Degree.
The B.Sc schedule and AME License course are the same for the first two years, in any case, the B.Sc assessment is done by the University and AME License evaluation is assessed by the Civil Aviation Authority i.e., DGCA Govt. of India.
In the wake of finishing B.Sc. Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course one will have many opportunities in aviation fields. The Aviation Industry is improving day by day and it has been observed that there is nearly a growth of 20 to 25% in domestic and international passengers; which have clearly been predicted to have nearly 1000 more aircraft to calculate and in the same ratio we need to have skilled man power in lacs.
After completion of the course, you can be a part of the following organizations:
Maintenance and Repair Organizations (MRO)
Aircraft Manufacturing Organizations.
Aircraft Part Manufacturing Organizations.
Aircraft Operation Organizations.
Flight Training Centers.
Flying Clubs.
Paramilitary Forces.
Private Ventures using Aircrafts.
Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is divided into the following streams.
Mechanical (B1)
Airplane & Power Plant (B1.1 & B1.2)
Helicopter & Power Plant (B1.3 & B1.4)
